For months, I felt a small bump right between my shoulders. It didn’t hurt, so I tried to pretend it wasn’t there. Life was busy, and a tiny lump didn’t seem like something I needed to worry about.

When I finally saw a specialist, they explained that these deep lumps can easily become infected if left untreated. Even if they start small, they can grow beneath the skin faster than you expect.
Ignoring it was the worst thing I could have done. Treating it early would have saved me pain, stress and a lot of fear.
