A video recording has revealed Amber Heard being booed while leaving court amid the ongoing lawsuit between her and ex-husband Johnny Depp.
Depp filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit against the Aquaman star after an op-ed piece she wrote for The Washington Post in 2018, in which she insinuated she had been a victim of domestic abuse during the pair’s marriage.
Both Depp and Heard have faced extreme scrutiny during the trial, with marriage counsellors, friends and psychologists having taken to the stand to give their views.
However, a section of the public appears to have turned against Heard, after footage posted to YouTube documented the boos yelled at the actress as she left court.
In the video, the camera holder can be hearding boo-ing the actress as she leaves the court building.
Other people can be heard joining in, blowing whistles and hurling insults at the actress.
One person even calls Heard a ‘witch’.
