Jada Pinkett Smith Says She ‘Never’ Wanted To Marry Will and Cried Walking Down the Aisle in Resurfaced Clip

The resurfaced clip of Jada talking about their wedding is from a 2018 Red Table Talk episode titled, ‘Becoming Mr. & Mrs. Smith’.

 

In the video, Jada sits at the table with her daughter, Willow, husband, Will and mom, Adrienne Banfield-Norris.

Discussing when Jada fell pregnant with their first child, Jaden, she said she questioned what she was “going to do now” because she “really didn’t want to get married.”

Will then added that they only got married “because Gammy (Jada’s mom) was crying.”

Moving on to talk about their wedding, Jada then said: “I was under so much pressure, you know, being a young actress, being young, and I was just, like, pregnant and I just didn’t know what to do.”

She said that although she didn’t know what to do, she knew she “never wanted to be married.”
