Jada Pinkett Smith Says She ‘Never’ Wanted To Marry Will and Cried Walking Down the Aisle in Resurfaced Clip

Jada recalled that her mom forced her and Will to marry when she fell pregnant, prompting her mom to admit that she did feel “very strongly” about wanting them to marry.

“I don’t remember your rejection of the idea of marriage,” Banfield-Norris said. “I remember the rejection of the idea of a wedding but not of a marriage.”

Jada went on to say that she just wanted it to be the two of them “on a mountain because I was like: ‘This is serious business.’”

Further into the video, the family discussed the actual wedding day with Banfield-Norris describing it as “horrible.”

According to the New York Post, she that the wedding “was a mess” and that Jada “was very unpleasant” to which Jada laughed and agreed.

“And I was so upset that I had to have a wedding. I was so pissed I went crying down the freaking aisle,” Jada said. “I cried the whole way down the aisle.”

On the other hand, Will said in the video: “There wasn’t a day in my life that I wanted anything other than being married and having a family.”
