You Are Not Fat, Your Stomach Is Bloated And Here Is How To Get Rid Of It!

With most people’s poor diets, high levels of stress, need for daily medications and exposure to various pollutants, it’s no wonder they’re suffering some sort of bloating more days than not.

Many physicians believe that bloating is actually gas that is trapped inside the stomach.

Having a bloated stomach is different from gaining actual fat mass around your stomach, since bloating is temporary and mostly caused by air becoming stuck around your abdomen, making it distend outward.

These are the most common cases:

Constipation – Being constipated means your bowel movements are difficult or happen less often than normal.  It means that the gas that is trapped behind the feces. Increase your fiber alimentation.

Smoothies, whole grain bread,berries are some of the foods you should eat more often but not excessively.

Carbohydrates – Carbohydrates are one of the main types of nutrients. They are the most important source of energy for your body.For a healthy diet, limit the amount of added sugar that you eat and choose whole grains over refined grains.

Stress – Stress is your body’s way of responding to any kind of demand or threat. When you feel threatened, your nervous system responds by releasing a flood of stress hormones and including adrenaline and cortisol, which rouse the body for emergency action.

Water – The human body can last weeks without food, but only days without water. The body is made up of 50 to 75 per cent water. Water forms the basis of blood, digestive juices, urine and perspiration, and is contained in lean muscle, fat and bones. Bloated stomach is sign of fluid retention. As the body can’t store water, we need fresh supplies every day to make up for losses from the lungs, skin, urine and poo. The amount we need depends on our body size, metabolism, the weather, the food we eat and our activity levels.

Eating fast – The faster you eat, the faster your stomach fills up, but your brain may not know this and so you continue to eat more than you should. Excess calories are not burned by the body and are instead stored as fat, leading to weight gain. Enjoy your meals slowly.
