This woman once tipped the scales at over 200 kilograms and couldn’t stop eating

This woman once tipped the scales at over 200 kilograms and could not stop eating. Tatiana Santiago was never the skinny type, but for many years her weight stayed within a healthy range. Everything changed in 2020 after the heartbreaking loss of her child. In the midst of grief, she turned to food for comfort and bold and intense emotional eating soon became her coping mechanism.

Reflection Creates a Turning Point

She made the difficult choice to undergo gastric bypass surgery. After the operation she continued her routine, working out six times a week and fully committing to her new lifestyle.

A Transformation That Surprised Everyone

Returning home after her recovery shocked even her family because her transformation was so dramatic that they could hardly recognize her. Today she weighs 75 kilograms. She feels proud when she looks in the mirror and has learned to bold and sincerely love the woman she sees. Just that
